| CP-1 | Trek to next CP's | From Lake Sylvia Day Use area, turn left out of parking lot and travel ~ 2 miles to the FR-132 intersection to find CP-1. | |
| CP-2 | Trek to next CP's | From CP-1, Turn left on FR-132 and travel ~1 mile to the intersection of FR132 and FR179 to find CP-2. | |
| CP-3 | Trek to next CP's | From CP-2, Travel south on FR179 for ~0.5 miles to the trailhead on your right to find CP-3. The trail will be marked with orange flagging. | |
| CP-4 | Trek to next CP's | From CP-3, Racers will follow a marked trail for ~1.8 miles to CP-4. | |
| Base Transition Area/ CP-5 | Trek to next CP's | From CP-4, Racers will continue to follow the marked trail for ~0.25 miles until back at the intersection of FR132. Racers will follow the road west back to the Lake Sylvia Day Use Area to CP-5. | |

| Trekking (4 miles) | CP-6 | Collect the Canoe section CPs in any order. | From the start (Lake Sylvia Day Use Area, Racers will trek to CP-6. CP-6 is located on the SouthEast side of a jeep road. |
| CP-7 | Collect the Canoe section CPs in any order. | Racers will trek to CP-7. CP-7 is located on the side of a jeep road. | |
| CP-8 | Collect the Canoe section CPs in any order. | Racers will trek to CP-8. CP-8 is located on the top of a hill. The bearing from CP7 to CP8 is 135º. | |
| CP-9 | Collect the Canoe section CPs in any order. | Racers will trek to CP-9. CP-9 is located in a ravine. The bearing from CP8 to CP9 is 96º. | |
| CP-10 | Collect the Canoe section CPs in any order. | Racers will trek to CP-10. CP-10 is located on a slight hump. The bearing from CP9 to CP10 is 44º. | |
